![]() ![]() We normally just take whatever room they give us (which is usually in the back) but this time I asked Delon for a front room facing the Fox and he obliged us (Thanks Delon!). The gent at the desk was named Delon, and he's a really great guy very efficient, very friendly and helpful with a great customer service mentality. The rooms are small, especially the bathrooms, but they are well appointed and the place is kind of chic. We like the location because it's right across from the Fox Theater and we like to go see shows there without having to drive. My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years. Not worth anywhere near the price for service and room. I have traveled for over 30 years and this is one, if not the smallest rooms I have ever had. The bathroom is a half bath in your house where you have to sit on toilet at an angle to not have your feet hit shower door. Luggage rack is not even big enough for a suitcase I have stayed in NYC rooms that are bigger. I cannot imagine having more than 1 person in room. Indigo is to me a boutique hotel with large rooms and great staff. It is a historic hotel and was the first Indigo. They had already approved my card in full for nights charges but wanted to make sure you could not get checked in a minute before guaranteed time. I am in the hotel business and I am certain 1 room was ready if he had looked. He did not even check to see if 1 room had been cleaned and ready in over 3 hours. I was told after waiting 10 minutes that checkin was 3:00 pm. ![]() ![]() I attempted to check in on a Monday at 2:12 pm. That would be the only positive I can give. I booked this hotel as a Spire member as it was close to a meeting I had. We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Indigo and would definitely go back. Just to give another example of this was after we checked out Sunday morning, Earl wished our son Happy birthday, which I had mentioned just briefly upon checking in. This added such a nice personal touch, that in today's growing impersonal world, was a pleasant added bonus to our trip. This is where we had the pleasure of being served by and speaking at length with Livelle, Jermaine and Megan. We ate breakfast the two mornings we were there on the outside patio and enjoyed the variety of fresh food and great service. We stayed in a room with 2 double beds and had room to put clothes for 3 people. Everything was up to date, clean and comfortable. Everyone at this hotel was very happy to help you and were very personable as well as professional. When we checked into the hotel Friday afternoon, we were pleasantly greeted by Earl, who began telling us the history of the building. I also liked that it was a historic building and the smaller bathrooms did not deter us. I had read several reviews and felt it was the best fit for us. We chose the Hotel Indigo on Peachtree Street directly across from the Fox Theater. We recently attended an event in Atlanta and needed to stay in a hotel that was within walking distance to it. Thanks again for being our guest and I look forward to welcoming you back to the hotel soon. If you just need a short walk, please stop in and see me and I will share my walking route I take with our Head Dog in Charge, Indy, the hotel's Jack Russell Terrier. Midtown is a both a residential and urban neighborhood and there are several parks to which a great dog walk is part of, including Atlanta's second largest park, Piedmont Park, which has a free roam dog park for unleashed exercise. Please check with our guest service team or refer to our large LCD Neighborhood Guide. You mentioned not having a place to exercise your pet. I am so happy to hear you bring your four-legged family members with you. I am glad to hear our staff took good care of you and resolved your late night issue.
